Inspired by life and legends of the Hawaiian islands, 8 instrumental songs, mostly acoustic, telling stories of love, loss, war, peace, friendship, heartache and humanity's place in the natural world.
I recorded these songs 4-10 days after composition to achieve a spontaneity, and freshness in the performances. Acoustic guitars, open tunings, Hawaiian legends, adventures in the garden and the pure belief that a sole melody can carry a tune.... were the modus operandi of my muse.
